REPORTING A SUSPICIOUS EMAIL (i.e. a phishing email)

• Please forward suspicious emails to: report@phishing.gov.uk
• Suspicious text messages (smishing text messages) can be sent, along with the phone number, to 7726. This is a free service.

All reports made to Action Fraud are assessed by the National Fraud Reporting Service (NFRS). Where the NFRS decide there are reasonable lines of enquiry they will disseminate the case to an investigative team within the local police force for further enquiries. Only Action Fraud and/or NFRS will be able to update you as to their decision regarding your case.
